The I.B.E.W has developed A Code of Excellance program designed to bring out the best in our members and demonstrate to our customers that I.B.E.W members:

          - EXERCISE SAFE AND PRODUCTIVE WORK PRACTICES 

          - PERFORM THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF WORK

          - UTILIZE THEIR SKILLS AND ABILITIES TO THE MAXIMUM

The Code of Excellence is not only about an I.B.E.W job being built right the first time; on schedule and under budget; it is also about taking pride in our work and work ethics.

The Code of Excellance is also to foster a positive culture and partnership with our employers. Management and Supervision rightfully have similar expectations of the Code of Excellance.

             - AMPLE JOB LAYOUT/DIRECTIONS TO MINIMIZE DOWN DOWN TIME AND MAXIMIZE EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY

             - PROPER NUMBER AND TYPE OF TOOLS/EQUIPMENT TO ENSURE JOB PROGRESS

             - MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
