Upcoming Projects

What’s ahead for IBEW Local 71 members

IBEW Local 71 members help build and maintain the electrical infrastructure that keeps our region moving. This includes power generation and distribution, as well as critical upgrades that support long-term growth. This page is designed to give members a clear, centralized place to review upcoming work opportunities and stay informed about what is on the horizon.

Project activity can change quickly based on schedules, permitting, material availability, weather and owner timelines. For that reason, the information on all subpages should be viewed as a planning resource, not a guarantee of start dates, manpower needs or call details.

When a project moves from “upcoming” to active referral, official dispatch information and job calls will follow the established referral procedures.

Why we share upcoming project information

Knowing what work is expected helps members make informed decisions — whether that means preparing for a call, planning travel and family schedules, updating certifications or identifying training that may be beneficial for a specific type of work. It also supports better coordination across the Local by providing members with a consistent source of project-related updates.

Keep your information current

To avoid missed opportunities, members should ensure their contact information is up to date and remain attentive to official communications from the Local. If you have questions about a specific project listing, contact the Union Hall for clarification.

The project information provided is subject to change and is intended for member awareness and planning.
